Finding a display type that captures retro decadence without slipping into parody can challenge any designer building a distinct brand identity. Stilla solves this by merging voluptuous curves with surgical hairline incisions, creating a high-impact Didone serif aesthetic rooted firmly in the 1970s. This single-weight powerhouse commands attention on album covers, high-fashion mastheads, and large-format posters where ordinary typefaces simply fade away.
Built for striking visual hierarchy, the typeface thrives in headlines and packaging where its bold, ultra-heavy forms and razor-sharp contrast create immediate tension and elegance. Designers working on multilingual projects will appreciate its robust character set, which covers English, Swahili, Finnish, Somali, Afrikaans, Zulu, and Quechua.
Delivered in OTF, TTF, WOFF2, and WOFF formats, Stilla integrates smoothly into both print layouts and modern web design. Explore how this nostalgic yet sharply contemporary serif can anchor your next branding project.
